Our seminars and courses are designed to teach you what the pros know and provide you with the additional support (online discussion groups, conference call time with the instructor) you need to apply what you have learned to your own situation and succeed!

Grant and Evaluation Seminars
All seminars will be conducted LIVE using WebEx. If you register for the seminar but are unable to participate in the live event, you will still receive a link to the recorded seminar (full WebEx presentation with audio and video) as well as any other written materials. You will be able to review the seminar as many times as you would like, on demand, over the next 6 months.
Secrets of Successful Grant Writers
This one hour seminar reveals the secrets of the most successful grant writers. In addition to receiving a copy of the e-book, 12 Secrets of Successful Grant Writers, Veronica Robbins gives a detailed explanation of each of the tips in the e-book PLUS she explains 10 more of the secrets that have earned her clients almost $150 million dollars since 2000.

Writing an Effective Evaluation Section
Writing a high quality evaluation section is one of the biggest challenges for grant writers. In this one hour session, you will get expert tips from a professional grant writer and evaluator on how to get every single possible point for your evaluation section.

This one hour seminar will provide guidance on developing comprehensible and clear logic models. More and more funders are requiring that logic models be developed and submitted with grant applications. This seminar will explore best practices for logic model development. Several format samples and online sources for additional logic model guidance will be provided.

This one hour seminar will focus on developing and displaying timelines for grant proposals. Several different formats will be discussed and provided, along with professional tips for developing high quality grant timelines.

Online Grant Classes
Online courses are multi-session courses providing detailed instruction in a variety of topics.

Multi-media materials (WebEx sessions, videos, PDFs) are all pre-recorded and will be made available for viewing on demand according to each courses session schedule.

Course participants will be invited to participate in an online discuss group, providing them with additional access to the instructor and the opportunity to interact with other course participants.

Some courses also include individual, 30 -60 minute consultations with the instructor to discuss your current projects or individual questions.

Participants will have online access to all course materials and recorded sessions for 6 months after the conclusion of the course.
Grant Writing 101
This 12 session (5 week) course is designed for individuals who are new to grant writing or who want to get started with grant writing. For each session, readings, online resources, and instructor presentations will be supplemented by an online discussion group, allowing participants to interact with the instructor and with each other. In addition to course sessions, each participant will receive two 30-minute consultations with the instructor to review course assignments (grant proposals) and address more detailed individual issues. Core content sessions will be recorded and participants will have online access to the recordings for at least 6 months. All paid participants will also receive a copy of the instructor's book, 101 Tips for Aspiring Grant Writers. At the end of the course, participants who effectively completed at least 9 sessions (and corresponding quizzes) and at least one grant proposal will receive a certificate of completion and letter of reference. Registration will be limited to ensure that all participants receive individual attention.

This 10 session (5 week) course is designed for intermediate grant writers who want to take their writing (and success!) to the next level. Becoming a Freelance Grant Writer
This 5 session course is designed for individuals who are considering becoming freelance grant writers. The course will include making the decision, tips for getting started, finding clients, marketing your services, developing client contracts, fiscal and tax considerations, managing client relationships, and finding online resources. For each session, readings, online resources, and instructor presentations will be supplemented by an online discussion group, allowing participants to interact with the instructor and with each other. Effective Data Collection and Program Evaluation for Non-Profit Organizations
This 5 session course is designed for non-profit administrators responsible for documenting the effectiveness of organizational programs. This may be the Executive Director who is charged with reporting to the board, or any other manager completing evaluation reports for grant funders or developing annual reports for stakeholders and donors. The course will include instruction in the basics of program evaluation and data collection, survey development, data analysis, and report development. For each session, readings, online resources, and instructor presentations will be supplemented by an online discussion group, allowing participants to interact with the instructor and with each other.
