Veronica Robbins Grant Goddess

Veronica Robbins is the lead grant writer and evaluator for Creative Resources & Research, a consulting firm that specializes in grant writing and program evaluation services for schools and non-profit organizations. Ms. Robbins has successfully completed over one hundred program evaluations for programs ranging from small local programs to large, multimillion dollar projects. She has also completed doctoral level coursework in program evaluation and qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and she has provided training in the area of program evaluation for many years.

Effective Data Collection and Program Evaluation for Non-Profit Organizations - Coming Soon

This 5 session course is designed for non-profit administrators who are responsible for documenting the effectiveness of organizational programs.

The course is appropriate for an Executive Director who is charged with reporting to the board, or any other manager completing evaluation reports for grant funders or developing annual reports for stakeholders and donors.

The course includes instruction in the basics of program evaluation and data collection, survey development, data analysis, and report development. For each session, readings, online resources, and instructor presentations are supplemented by an online discussion group, allowing participants to interact with the instructor and with each other.

The instructor is available for 30 minutes per week for an "office hours" conference call session for general content questions.

Sessions are recorded and participants have online access to the recordings for six months. Weekly "office hours" sessions are not recorded. Registration is limited to ensure that all participants receive individual attention.

  1. Evaluation Basics; Designing an Evaluation Management Plan

  2. Data Collection Tips

  3. Survey Development and Administration; Focus Groups

  4. Basics of Data Analysis

  5. Reporting Evaluation Results

Total Instructional Time: 7.5 hours of direct instruction, 2.5 hours of "office hours" consultation time, additional access to instructor through online discussion group
