Grant Maker Research
Foundation grant research is a time consuming and detail-oriented process. In addition, unless you are close to a non-profit library and have the time to spend there, good research generally requires a subscription to a costly online database service. CRR maintains subscriptions to the best of the online databases and our staff has extensive experience conducting research. We charge a nominal monthly fee for conducting grant research to produce viable grant leads that can then be pursued through Letters of Inquiry and/or submission of grant proposals.

- Review potential grant maker annual report from previous year
- Search online for articles pertaining to grant maker giving
- Attempt direct communication with grant maker about current priorities
- Attempt to communicate with two grant recipients about grant maker priorities
- Government Grant Search
- Weekly review of grants.gov
- Weekly review of applicable state grant sites
- Weekly review of Federal Register
- RFP Grant Search
- Weekly review of foundation RFP sites and periodicals
- Daily review of relevant Google alerts
Deliverables:
